The Los Angeles Musical Theatre Studio (“LAMTS,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and enroll in classes, and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect. When you create an account or enroll, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the classes you sign up for and your class history, any studio credit on your account, and an optional headshot you choose to upload. We keep records of your payments (amounts and dates). We do not collect or store your full payment card number — card details are entered directly with our payment processor.
How we use your information. We use it to manage your enrollments and waitlists, process payments and issue receipts, maintain your account, attendance, and transcript, and to communicate with you about your classes. If you opt in, we may send occasional studio news; you can unsubscribe at any time.
Payments. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe’s handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.
Service providers. We use trusted third parties to operate the studio: Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (database and file storage hosting), and Resend (transactional email such as receipts and account links). These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Cookies. We use a single secure, HttpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Data retention. We retain enrollment, attendance, and payment records for as long as needed to run the studio and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Your choices. You may request to review, correct, or delete your personal information, or ask a question about this policy, by contacting us at the details below.
Children. The studio serves adult students. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
